1/23/09: I must say, Pedro keeps hanging in there with a rising equity curve. The track record continues to grow, speaking for itself, without needing any additional continuous daily forum comments. 11/13/08: mouse over the trades on this day. You will find where trader continues to add to losing position. The equity curve demise as a result. This is what happens when traders try to manage out of a losing position - the result = potential BIG catastrophic losses at some point when luck runs out. 10/21/08: so far so good... staggering equity curve in recent weeks. nice job!

10/11/08: system that averages down while in a losing position (reference trade data 4 contracts 10/09/08) in combination with an APD < .4 demonstrates high brokerage costs, high degree of slippage, as well as potential for blowing out a real time trading account.

10/8/08: A close look at a recent trade shows that the system averages down while in a losing position. IMHO the ability to successfully average down positions to yield long term success with a limited amount of capital is uncertain.

9:18:08: A look at the very first position posted in the track record demonstrates that the system adds risk into an already losing position. This is a recipe for potential future disaster. All it takes is one big losing trade and you are wiped out. I'm not saying that will happen, but ...

8/14/08: clearly something is not working as the vendor intended. After factoring in the cost of subscription, there would be little if any profits remaining for the subscriber as of this date. 6/24/08: This vendor has demonstrated prior diligence. It would surprise me if his new intra day system doesn't perform as well as his other "Have Fun" system has over the long haul. To date it trades 1 ES contract at a time. This might prove to be a good system for someone wanting to diversify their account with on the ES (S&P emini) and since it is only 1 contract at a time, it would allow someone with a smaller account size (minimal of $10k-$20k should work as long as there isn't a string of losers at some point which to date has not been the case). I will check back in 90+ days to further comment as the infancy of the stats become more reliable.

10/2/08: Market has been bearish - the system died. It's important to know what type of market you are in, and how the system is optimized. This one obviously was optimized / geared toward a bullish market environment without much regards for how to handle a bearish market. 5/24/08: Appears to be a mid to long term trading algorithm used which produces little churn on the account with minimal brokerage fees. System has performed well from 4/01 to date although the market has been in a bullish uptrend over that same period. It will be interesting to see how the system performs when the market is once again in a bearish trend.

9/23/08: the recent drawdown is a good example of why one may want to diversify among a few different trading strategies / instruments, and not put too much of trading capital into any one strategy / system - no matter how good it looks, or how many 5 star reviews it gets. 8/18/08: equity continuing to build. nice sharpe. i would have to double check in the track record, but i believe the vendor adds shares to an already profitable position. nice job!

5/9/08: very interesting. The idea behind index option spreads using time decay can be profitable as well as works well in a stagnant market. The ability to closely manage the risk of a losing trade, before it becomes a *substantial loss* is key to success on vertical credit / condor spreads, is the key, so at first glance it would appear that this vendor may have a good handle of the option greek relationships. What disturbs me however is the realism factor is only 53% however. More due diligence is needed when have the time.

8/18/08: After seeing the recent draw down, and from posts made in the forums, looks like a risk management issue going on here or lack of. 6/19/06: I need to find the time to review this system in more detail. I unfortunately know absolutely nothing about forex markets except that I would like to learn more about them, if I were led to believe that consistent $ could be made from trading them. This system looks good at first glance, but I would need to investigate the draw downs in more detail. And like anything if I were to trade it, I would need to allocate enough capital to ensure that I could withstand potential future draw downs to earn an acceptable ROI based upon my expectations.

5/08: discretionary counter trend trading on the ER2 futures. low draw downs, overall much more winning to losing trades. so far seems good for someone with a relatively small portfolio size ($10-$20k+) or larger account for some diversification looking to trade 1 or 2 contracts at various times is typical with this system.

10/5/09: I guess there was a good reason why I had limited success doing spreads on the VIX as well. Lesson learned? The VIX appears to be not a good instrument for reliable trading profits using options. 8/18/08: equity moving up. sharpe > 1. low realism though, but if a subscriber could trade the results, they are solid to date with low drawdown. extremely low price tag with extra long free trial. what's the catch? Nice Job! 6/19/08: I've traded the VIX before for several months a while back doing vertical spreads with limited success. What this system has going for it is that it is showing a positive equity curve to date with at least a 6 month track record starting at a low $ amount of capital with nearly a 100% annual compounding return which is exceptional IMHO.

5/8/08: At first glance when I take a look at this system I want to say, "This guy is my hero. Good job!" The system has been around for over a year now, and is showing obvious good results. But when I dig a little deeper at the trades, I don't understand how slippage wouldn't kill someone trying to trade it since it is a scalping system taking nickels and dimes, sometimes a penny. I would be interested to read any subscriber comments, and am surprised to see that after 12+ months there are no comments, good, bad, objective - nada. I find it odd that after 12 months of data there are no sub comments.

10/5/09: It's been 6 days shy of a year since I last looked at the mighty "EXLENCE" system. What else is there to say but, "very nice" kudos to this vendor for his work to date. 10/11/08: exlence is on the move again making another sharp move to the upside in a big way - nice job! 4/08: April has been difficult in discretionary futures trading. As a result, this system too has been hiccup'n along over the past few months. 1/08: At first glance this looks like a terrific system, and the author is humble in his efforts as well makes it all the more appealing. More time will be needed to spend reviewing the system in more detail to draw greater conclusions or merit as the case may be than a first glance impression.
