The vendor is disciplined, and accurate, and there's every chance this system could do as well as the vendors's other system Have Fun over the long term. I hope this system sticks with just 1 contract S&P, as this neatly allows it to trade alongside Have Fun, and other systems, without stepping on toes. Just a couple of comments on this trader's style, and I think they apply to this system, and also to the Have Fun system. First the trades are accurate, with clear (and understandable) entry points, and disciplined, with stop losses, and the vendor is not afraid to take profits. The win ratio is truly exceptional. On the Have Fun system, the vendor obviously waits for the right (presumably fairly rare) setup to come along. The fact that this system (which trades nearly every day) also has such a high win ratio is very impressive. On the negative side, I think a reviewer for Have Fun said that the vendor took risky trades. I'm not sure I agree entirely, but I would say that occasionally the trades look very good on paper (ie short just below strong resistance, etc), but that news or market sentiment means that the trade is risky in reality. Most of the time the trades behave according to the indicators, but sometimes, news and sentiment overwhelm them, and the trades look "obviously wrong" in restrospect. The other issue is trade management. The vendor has had an exceptional win ratio. Whilst this continues, it's not too much of a problem when the losing trades are the same size, or even bigger, than the winning trades. But this really will be a problem if the win ratio deteriorates, as it surely will at some point. I'd like to see losers cut a little quicker, and perhaps winners run a little longer. But overall, it looks like shaping up to be a successful system. LOL, the trade today 8 sep 2008 is simply unbelievable. Did the vendor fall asleep at the screen? Hi kids had a go at the trading platform? Thankfully I unsubscribed already.

Looks very similar in operation to mvp-3, using nasdaq leveraged ETFs. Vendro claims you can use the same signals on other indices, but I can't see how this can be true. The same principal, perhaps, but the exact same timing - I'm dubious.

lots of GLD and SLV. Might be worth checking their success against my own trades. Looks like long only. On second thoughts, this has been running since 2006, and gained about 40%. Trades mostly energy and PMs. Both of which have gained 40% in the last SIX MONTHS. So you'd have been much better just buy and hold. In contrast my own trades (pretty much leveraged buy and hold, with profit-taking at obvious peaks), along with some options/warrants, have yielded more like 600%. in six months; not down to any skill on my part I should add, but down to a rampant bull market in these commodities.

Not sure how this would scale to a smaller account, and some of the individual losses are quite hefty. One to watch. Looks like it's broken from April onwards, will it ever recover? I notice deltahedge, which works on a similar principle, but daily, rather than weekly has also broken, but slightly later. Hmmm, is it because of the recent downturn in volatility?
