| | I tried DI for several days with a Gen3 OpenECry account. I previously had used an Interactive Brokers account with Trader68 as the "go between" for autotrader. Trader68 didn't work well so I thought moving to Gen3 autotrading would work better. Well, it worked a little better but I was unable to make money. Lately, DI has been making most of it's profit with .25 gains or less. I was only able to get 25% or less of those small trades (couldn't get the fill) so either broke even or lost when DI made .25. I'd be curious how other people are doing/did. The system looks like it works but the amount of .25 quick gains I just don't see as realistic for investors on this site. |

I am not a subscriber to this "system," but my experience with other scalping systems is that going for .25 point is a fool's game. As I show in My Analyst page this system is a big net loser when you account for fees and commissions. And that assumes you get all the fills, which as you point out, you don't.
Your experience could help other avoid this, if you post or update your review. |

I agree, and that was my intent to put my experience on the table. You mention I should post or update my review? Do I need to summarize my experience in another place on the site?
Thanks. And btw I certainly don't have anything against the admin or C2. I just wanted to put my experience out there. A little more info from either on what it would take to make the subscription successful would be helpful. But I'm afraid there may not be anything, short of the actual program that is being used to generate the signals, that would work. |

Subscribers are allowed to review systems they subscribe to. They can give it a rating too. It is the best way for people to determine whether a system is good or not.
You should see a review link somewhere on the page of the system you subscribed to.
Documenting your experience will help many people out. |

Looks like this system may have been slowed down a little. Could make it much more tradeable for C2 customers. |

What makes you say that? In the last 11 trades, I see 3 that were 1 tick scalps and one that was a scratch. Probably all losers after comissions, or no fills.
If the system was indeed changed as you suggest, that invalidates all the previous history. Witness what Babson ETF Timer has done since switching methods - and now switching back again. |

Well, you may be correct. Here are the % of 1 tick/breakeven trades over the last 4 days:
9/23 43%
9/22 23.5%
9/21 20%
9/20 60%
I'll try and take more time and look at more history. At a glance it looked to me like things had changed slightly. We'll keep an eye on it. |

What is the C2 Score?
Collective2 rates every trading advisor in its database and assigns a score between 100 and 1000.
In general, a rating above 500 is good. A rating above 700 is excellent.
Collective2 Ratings are recalculated daily based on the entire performance history in our database. The exact formula we use is proprietary, but there are several key variables that go into the Collective2 Rating. One of the most important factors is the length of time we have been able to observe the performance of the trader. Another key factor is the amount by which the trader over-performs or under-performs the S&P 500 index. Finally, the choppiness of the trader's results is taken into account. Certainly a more consistent trader will be rated more highly than a trader with erratic results.
