Your system subscription fee is included in performance results.

Hello Matthew

What is your justification for including the subscription fee in performance results?

In my opinion, the subscription fee
* has nothing to do with the system performance
* are costs outside the box
* are an unfair disadvantage for systems, that starts with a small amount
* and last but not least, high "commissions" are already part of the C2 chart

So, why do you load the C2 subscription fee on top of the equity curve?

Regards
Ben

U.S. regulators require it.

U.S. regulators require it.

Thank you for the quick respond!

But this regulatory seams to be senseless for C2 model accounts, above all the fees are not burden to the clients but payed by the system publisher!

Wouldn't it be possible to question this regulatory in the special case of C2?

Cheers

I think you misunderstand. The system-developer fees (i.e. the every-six-month fee you pay to publish your system on C2) are not included in the system charts or performance stats.

The subscription fees (paid by subscribers) are included.

This is required by US regulators, even though it has some pernicious effects (incentivizing people to use larger model account sizes, for example).

But I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time a regulation has had unintended consequences.

Ahh, thank you for clarification :-)
