| | I autotrade a C2 reversal system (always in the market). I was in synch since late last week and was long 1 contract today. Normally a reversal would go short 2 from here to result in 1 short. From my TB logs it looks like C2 send a short for 1 contact which put me at net 0 and then another for 2 short which put me at net 2 short. The next signal was 2 long which resulted in net 0.
1.) Is this a known C2 issue?
2.) How can I get back in synch? When I 1st tried the system, I matched their position and the next trade resulted in net 0.

Yes, there has been an issue with the way autotrade has handled rapid "reversals" from long to short (and short to long). I believe that as of today the issue is fixed.
I checked the AutoTrade records, and as of 10:00 pm ET July 24, C2 AutoTrade thinks you are flat in the system you are talking about. So make sure you're flat in your real account, and things should be in sync from this point on. |

Matthew. I made sure I was flat this morning. The next signal came around 1pm and put me short 2. I was anticipating that C2 knew I was flat and would send a signal for only 1 short. |

This trade ended up reversing again adding 2 long to the 2 short position netting a position of 0. To add to this, the 2 short position was a loser and doubled my loss from where I should have been. This is a bad cycle I'd rather not be in any more. |

Matthew, I've deleted my Autotrading permissions for this system until you feel I can reliably trade and keep in synch.

According to the database, the system sees you as flat now. Let's take this conversation offline and use email to continue... |

What is the C2 Score?
Collective2 rates every trading advisor in its database and assigns a score between 100 and 1000.
In general, a rating above 500 is good. A rating above 700 is excellent.
Collective2 Ratings are recalculated daily based on the entire performance history in our database. The exact formula we use is proprietary, but there are several key variables that go into the Collective2 Rating. One of the most important factors is the length of time we have been able to observe the performance of the trader. Another key factor is the amount by which the trader over-performs or under-performs the S&P 500 index. Finally, the choppiness of the trader's results is taken into account. Certainly a more consistent trader will be rated more highly than a trader with erratic results.
