| | Hi. When I just started using Trader68, I see the following message.
0 05/13/2009 11:34:43 AM Broker Reconciliation: QLD: Position reconciled from Short 40 to out of market based on broker information. This may be due to an order being executed outside of Trader68.
I know that the QLD position is generated by ETF Timer system. how can I attach this position to a system, so that when a close signal is received, Trade68 will trade the signal and close this position?
also, I'm having 40 LONG position for QLD, I don't know why Trader68 thinks it is short position.
thanks. |

Hello Sir,
"I know that the QLD position is generated by ETF Timer system. how can I attach this position to a system, so that when a close signal is received, Trade68 will trade the signal and close this position? "
You cannot associate a signal to a system unless the system itself sent it. So reconciled positions will not be tied into the system and will need to be manually executed.
"also, I'm having 40 LONG position for QLD, I don't know why Trader68 thinks it is short position. "
Could you please turn on Debug Messages in the Tools -> Options menu and then copy the log entry for that particular position. Collective2 is notorious for sending the wrong entry type (i.e. STO versus STC) as we've reported in the past. You can either post it here or email it to us at support@trader68.com.
Thanks,
Steve |

What is the C2 Score?
Collective2 rates every trading advisor in its database and assigns a score between 100 and 1000.
In general, a rating above 500 is good. A rating above 700 is excellent.
Collective2 Ratings are recalculated daily based on the entire performance history in our database. The exact formula we use is proprietary, but there are several key variables that go into the Collective2 Rating. One of the most important factors is the length of time we have been able to observe the performance of the trader. Another key factor is the amount by which the trader over-performs or under-performs the S&P 500 index. Finally, the choppiness of the trader's results is taken into account. Certainly a more consistent trader will be rated more highly than a trader with erratic results.
