System Description

Please note I am not a registered broker with any governing body. As such I cannot offer individual advice or recommendations involving securities. I can, however, answer general questions about my system. Trade at your own risk.

The heart of this trading system relies on announcements, splits, earnings, dividends, and other news that could rapidly increase or decrease a stocks value. Most trades will involve long call or straddle/strangle positions. Positions held for news will typically last a few days while positions opened for splits will be open 3-4 weeks.

Other possible strategies include purchasing stocks with strong fundamentals for long term growth and/or dividend income and writing covered calls against them, writing call or put spreads, or writing other option strategies such as condors.

NAKED CALLS WILL NEVER BE USED!

Strong money management strategies will be used to reduce risk. Maximum total risk to portfolio is typically limited to 1-3% of a trade. When open trades are diversified over different industries risk per trade will be higher than situations when the portfolio is concentrated on a limited number of industries. On long term stock trades with a goal of writing covered calls and receiving dividend income risk may be higher since the stocks will not be sold.
