I took a look at this system briefly back in the Spring of this year when it was first being introduced to C2 only a few months old. As its equity curve, track record, and overall stats indicate, I believe EXLENCE continues to be one of the shining stars available here at C2. Due to the large number of underlying in its basket, it however might be somewhat more challenging to implement for smaller account sizes (ie. less than $100k capital).

not yet convinced this will hold up in the longterm. Although the system has interesting stats, using all stop orders to get INTO the market exposes you to constant pullbacks. The idea seems to be to get in on breakouts, but you can get clusters of wins and clusters of losses. The losses are likely to shave a small trader's portfolio suddenly. You get most of the new orders on Monday afternoon. Small traders should only put in those trades with SMALL margins, and learn to feel their way through firstl [Show Entire]

Need good nerves.. and a big account. It´s a "waiting for the big one" system - that big one does come once in a while. Does it offset all the losers? We will see.. |

Important Information About This System:
-- The EXLENCE system can have multi-month drawdown (or sideways) periods which may begin or end at any time.
-- The EXLENCE system can have trades with significant open profits that subsequently lose back all of the open profits and possibly turn into losing trades.
-- The EXLENCE system does not scale well for smaller accounts due to the contract sizes and the number of contracts traded. Send a private message to request details.
Nota bene: If you are trading this system manually with less capital than that shown in the hypothetical C2 account, you might consider using the conversions below to make proportional substitutions to the trade recommendations in order to maintain proper position sizing and risk control for your level of capital:
-- 1 CL (crude oil) = 2 QM (NYMEX mini crude oil)
-- 1 GC (gold) = 3 YG (NYSE LIFFE mini gold)
-- 1 NG (natural gas) = 4 QG (NYMEX mini natural gas)
-- 1 SI (silver) = 5 YI (NYSE LIFFE mini silver)

Important limitations about performance statistics on this page (back to top)
Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely
to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently
achieved by any particular trading program.
One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical
trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading. For example,
the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual
trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program, which cannot be fully
accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all of which can adversely affect actual trading results. If you are interested in the technical details of how we determine hypothetical trade prices, you may read this technical description.
