| | Dear Trader68,
I noticed that my system continuously generates a log message 101 oldest Messages removed.
This happens over and over again - sometimes with as little as 3 sec.
difference, sometimes with 30 sec difference.
It looks like an endless loop, as it does so for hours.
It seems also that in sync with this, it requires extra CPU.
Is there an idea how to get rid of this?
Thanks
Klaus

Hello Klaus,
Are there any messages in-between to determine what could be happening to generate so many messages? How many systems is Trader68 listening to on Collective2? Any additional information would greatly help. However, if you cannot find any additional information please send us your database which is located here at:
C:\Documents and Settings\[USER]\Local Settings\Application Data\NeuroDimension
Simply Zip the Trader68 folder and send it to support@trader68.com.
Thanks,
Steve @ Trader68 Support |

Dear Steve,
no, it seems there are no messages in between.
(Not even, when I activate status debugging).
Till recently there was only one system - now I activated a second system.

..wait now there is the following status debugging message.
- it creates tons of them. (Just activated it)
4 01/18/2010 04:30:24 PM Broker Reconciliation: EUR: Failed check current trade time against asset trading hours. The supplied DateTime represents an invalid time. For example, when the clock is adjusted forward, any time in the period that is skipped is invalid.
Parameter ..
and in between
4 01/18/2010 04:31:04 PM ..name: dateTime
I could not count: but could that be the 100+ messages?

Hello Klaus,
"I could not count: but could that be the 100+ messages?"
It very well could since that message is apart of an exception in the software. For the EUR asset, please check the Time Zone settings in the Asset Settings - specifically in the Safeguards tab to ensure that it is set correctly to your local time zone. The only time zone information that should be different is the one that relates to the signal generator which should be set to Eastern Standard Time.

Dear Steve,
thanks a lot. Looks like this was it. All Assets hat the wrong time zone.
Now Trader68 is no longer such a CPU hog as well..
This makes a really big difference.

What is the C2 Score?
Collective2 rates every trading advisor in its database and assigns a score between 100 and 1000.
In general, a rating above 500 is good. A rating above 700 is excellent.
Collective2 Ratings are recalculated daily based on the entire performance history in our database. The exact formula we use is proprietary, but there are several key variables that go into the Collective2 Rating. One of the most important factors is the length of time we have been able to observe the performance of the trader. Another key factor is the amount by which the trader over-performs or under-performs the S&P 500 index. Finally, the choppiness of the trader's results is taken into account. Certainly a more consistent trader will be rated more highly than a trader with erratic results.
