| | I am sorry, but the reason it seems to look so good, is you are willing to hold large drawdowns until a profit is banked. I did a summary on 2007 trades. I get something like 58,800 in net profits and -268,000 summation of max drawdowns for an APD of approx 0.21. And that is during your BEST growth (after end of 2006.)
I am sorry, but that is a horrible investment performance. This is just another "Hold & Hope" System. IE, no predictive value whatsoever. |

No, I'm sorry, your analysis makes no sense. Bad trades are not held in hopes of them turning around, lots are closed if trade is going bad to minimize loss. I guess the proof is in the system performance which is displayed on C2. |

Have just subscribed to this system - I thought $5pm can't hurt but glad am only using fun money as $3K down closed and $600 down open on my first day - and I haven't factored in broker fees either!
Too early to judge but a shame 6 out of 8 trades went wrong. Come on Matrix Mania!!

actually the comment is from a long time ago. But the difficulty remains. The analysis is based on APD in the stats. Something like APD of 0.20 means for an average $20 of net profit, that the system experienced $100 in max DD. That is what is meant by Hold&Hope.
A couple of people will snarl against APD, but it is rather accurate regardless. The current APD is pretty poor.
But subscribed anyway, and watching. |
