| | Hi,
I'm Taiyang from Hawaii. I just started trading last week, so most of the stuff you guys talk about is Greek to me. I traded off a Si signal on Thur. night after work about 10pm, and traded until 10am Fri. I got the signal saying buy GBP/JPY around 241.90 or something like that. I had no clue what I was doing, so I looked at my chart and saw the price coming down. The signal said buy so I waited until it turned then I bought at 241.79 and got out at 244.02. Then I sold at 243.97 to 241.70. Then I went for one last ride up from 241.60 to 242.94. I finished with a last ride down from 242.81 to 240.54. The most I have made since I started last week was 80 pips. So when I finished with about 800 pips I thought I was dreaming. About the carry trade stuff I have earned about $2ea.on 6 trades by accident with FXCM. I started with a $500 mini account. My time zone is the reason I got carryover. When the market closes on the east coast it's only 11am my time. I always forget to close my trades, who thinks of the end of the day as 11am. I look forward to more signals, and learning more about this business. I'm waiting for this book I ordered " Forex Trading for Maximum Profits by Raghee Horner. It seemed like a good book, although I ordered it because it comes with a CD. Good Luck to all.
Aloha, Tai. |

Funny. Of course, when a system is in a drawdown, and you don't know what you are doing, the odds are that you "outperform" the system. I wish you (more) good luck in your trading! |

What is the C2 Score?
Collective2 rates every trading advisor in its database and assigns a score between 100 and 1000.
In general, a rating above 500 is good. A rating above 700 is excellent.
Collective2 Ratings are recalculated daily based on the entire performance history in our database. The exact formula we use is proprietary, but there are several key variables that go into the Collective2 Rating. One of the most important factors is the length of time we have been able to observe the performance of the trader. Another key factor is the amount by which the trader over-performs or under-performs the S&P 500 index. Finally, the choppiness of the trader's results is taken into account. Certainly a more consistent trader will be rated more highly than a trader with erratic results.
