| | I go through my demo account which I auto trade smartfx eclipse signals using Bulldogfx and noticed so many discrepancies with the results in http://collective2.com.
Infact right now (12.40PM) collective2 has only two open positions but my demo account has 19!
Almost all positions has been closed by the signal provider but my demo account still shows so many open positions. Some signals that were sent four days ago are still open in my demo. I have nzd/usd, usd/chf, usd/jpn, etc. These positions were closed in collective2 many days ago!
I think there's a problem somewhere. Somebody already made a remark in one of the reviews that autotraded results and the results on collective2 are significantly different.

I did autotrade on the demo version the very same system.
1.Demo account size is too small(way to small) to really trade this particular system.
2.Certain FX pairs must be excluded in autotrading due to the very large spreads FXCM has for certain pairs, in turn the system uses data straight from tradestation with much smaller spreads.
3.NZD has to be excluded as well, since C2 uses IB data feed and IB forex has no NZD based pairs
4.The scaling factor and lotsize has to be set appropriate for the demo account size
5.The limit order conversion feature must be set to 1 sec under the C2 trading permissions
All in all, the system vendor suggests in C2 description of the system, to not go more than 25% cash= 1 lot = 10k units.
To make it safe lets assume 20%.
This leaves accounts under 50 K USD equity out of question for any autotrading of Eclipse FX, |

Jerry,
Demo systems are not maintained with the same priority than live systems. For example, the demo was off-line for a few hours a few days ago, so any signal sent during that time was rejected as 'too old'. New feature are always tested on the demo before being rolled out to the live server, and sometimes the result is a few rejected orders.
We will soon roll-out a sync feature that will keep accounts in sync with C2 automatically if anything goes wrong.
I will manually sync your account now and email you privately when it's done.

What is the C2 Score?
Collective2 rates every trading advisor in its database and assigns a score between 100 and 1000.
In general, a rating above 500 is good. A rating above 700 is excellent.
Collective2 Ratings are recalculated daily based on the entire performance history in our database. The exact formula we use is proprietary, but there are several key variables that go into the Collective2 Rating. One of the most important factors is the length of time we have been able to observe the performance of the trader. Another key factor is the amount by which the trader over-performs or under-performs the S&P 500 index. Finally, the choppiness of the trader's results is taken into account. Certainly a more consistent trader will be rated more highly than a trader with erratic results.
