| | I thought it might be helpful to share my own experiences with those of you who have been hit by recent events in the currency market.
All 3 forex systems I have been trading on C2 have suffered losses this week. I can't get onto fxcm at the moment, but I estimate I'm at more than 10% account DD below initial investment on all fx. I've only had my money in fx for 2 weeks, so it's a little frustrating to see 10% drawdown on systems that have been putting in figures of over 200% pa and combined max DD of around 12%.
I'm not concerned, this is only a chunk of my investment capital, so in reality my total capital drawdown is much less. Plus I havent got round to diversifying my portfolio in non-fx systems on C2, which is in progress. My mistake was not legging into the systems (Thats what I deserve for not following my money management checklist). This would have minimized the impact of bad timing.
Regarding Si, I would say the best thing to do is just leave him be. Let him relax and focus on the markets with his psychology in peak condition.

"...leave him be"
Eh, I'm not a native speaker of English; do you mean "leave him" or "let him be (don't leave him)"?
Thanks for pointing out the results of other fx systems. At least I didn't pick the *single* fx system that was loosing this week.
I am happy to know that your account is 10% down too :-) Just kidding. The part of my account that I assigned to forex went down 10% in one week... Or is it 20%? I don't want to know anymore. And the stocks didn't make me happy either - so much for diversification.
Too bad my dog can't lick financial wounds :-) |

why not let your dog pick an alternative portfolio of C2 systems and trade it in a demo account? |

Sorry, that would be hard for someone who's first language is not english. It's an older english expression that roughly mean's "not to bother someone" and "let them continue with what they want/have to do". I was certainly NOT trying to say that you should unsubscribe from this system. I would never give that kind of advice. |

What is the C2 Score?
Collective2 rates every trading advisor in its database and assigns a score between 100 and 1000.
In general, a rating above 500 is good. A rating above 700 is excellent.
Collective2 Ratings are recalculated daily based on the entire performance history in our database. The exact formula we use is proprietary, but there are several key variables that go into the Collective2 Rating. One of the most important factors is the length of time we have been able to observe the performance of the trader. Another key factor is the amount by which the trader over-performs or under-performs the S&P 500 index. Finally, the choppiness of the trader's results is taken into account. Certainly a more consistent trader will be rated more highly than a trader with erratic results.
