| | Hi,
First I'd like to say thanks for the forum and for the site.
The question: Finished the auto-trade set up for the system I'm looking to trade, and following this was asked to sign and submit the standard MB fee acknowledgment form.
I submitted it yesterday and contacted MB today, and was told that from their end everything had been completed. Here on C2, the status under 'current auto trade permissions' remains 'waiting for broker approval.'
So I'm wondering if there's a standard, average turnaround time for this process after a broker has approved the auto trade set up? Or in this case if perhaps MB is slightly out of sync with their approval/response system and the turnaround time originates on their end?
Many thanks.

I think that happened to me too. E-mail C2 and they will fix it. I think there is a lag on the C2 side once MB approves the form. |

It took me 2 weeks to get autotade active. I had the same issue, waiting for broker approval. It turned out that it was C2 that was at fault. You should pm Mathew and ask him to look into it. |

Thanks for the replies guys.
It ended up being completed/established towards the end of the day, on the day which I posted.
If it might be helpful: From when MB approved the auto-trading the night before, to everything being set up and in place both on C2 and MB at about close of trading the following day---in my case the turnaround/lag time for this process was roughly 1 business day.
Regards and thanks again.

What is the C2 Score?
Collective2 rates every trading advisor in its database and assigns a score between 100 and 1000.
In general, a rating above 500 is good. A rating above 700 is excellent.
Collective2 Ratings are recalculated daily based on the entire performance history in our database. The exact formula we use is proprietary, but there are several key variables that go into the Collective2 Rating. One of the most important factors is the length of time we have been able to observe the performance of the trader. Another key factor is the amount by which the trader over-performs or under-performs the S&P 500 index. Finally, the choppiness of the trader's results is taken into account. Certainly a more consistent trader will be rated more highly than a trader with erratic results.
