I have asked this question already on the Support Forum of Tradebullet, but have had no reaction so far...........

I want to use both Buttontrader (BT, for manual trading) and Tradebullet (TB, for autotrading my C2 subscriptions) simultaneously on IB, via IB's API connection socket.

Problem 1:
I can only connect Tradebullet (C2) into IB, whenever Buttontrader is not connected at the same time, and vice versa.

How do I solve this issue, because I need to run both applications? I see a error message which says I have to assign a different client ID number to TB. How is this to be done?


Problem 2:
In case I can run both applications at the same time on IB, how do I make sure C2 instructions and trade orders sent by TB do not get mixed up with those sent by Buttontrader? I want to avoid TB closes positions not recognised by TB....
How do we go about this specific problem??

IB has already confirmed, you can run multiple API applications simultaneously from a single instance... so the problem is not on their side...
