Hello Roger,
"Broker Registration Failed" is a Trader68 to IB/TWS issue in that we could not properly translate the symbol from Collective2's format to IB/TWS. I just tried it on our latest 3.1.4 Beta 16 build (available through the Online Content button in Trader68) and it converted just fine. However, if you are not interested in downloading and installing the beta release you can manually edit the Asset Settings for the Mini-Dow by right-clicking on it and choosing Edit Asset Settings.
First check on the Broker Settings tab and verify it is looking at the correct exchange which should be ECBOT. Next, click on the Instruments tab and verify the following settings:
Base Broker Symbol - YM
Instrument Base Symbol - YM
Min. Characters in Base - 4
Two digit contract year - Checked
Single character contract month - Unchecked
Spaces between elements - Checked
If you had to change anything be sure to press the Save button and within a minute or so it should clear up the registration. If it does not within a minute or two, restart Trader68. If restarting does not work please contact us with your Message log (including debug messages) at support@trader68.com.
Thanks,
Trader68 Support |

What is the C2 Score?
Collective2 rates every trading advisor in its database and assigns a score between 100 and 1000.
In general, a rating above 500 is good. A rating above 700 is excellent.
Collective2 Ratings are recalculated daily based on the entire performance history in our database. The exact formula we use is proprietary, but there are several key variables that go into the Collective2 Rating. One of the most important factors is the length of time we have been able to observe the performance of the trader. Another key factor is the amount by which the trader over-performs or under-performs the S&P 500 index. Finally, the choppiness of the trader's results is taken into account. Certainly a more consistent trader will be rated more highly than a trader with erratic results.
