| | Yesterday I subscribed to a system, set up AutoTrade to my paper trading account at Interactive Brokers and licensed TradeBullet. Today the licensed system started trading at market open. Neither TWS nor the AutoTrade Control panel show that any of the developer's trades have been mirrored in my paper trading account.
Collective2 says I'm subscribed to autotrade this system.
TradeBullet appears to be connected to my account. It shows all my positions, my open orders, including orders I placed last night via a basket trade. Connection status shows the connection was shut down at 10pm PT, but was reconnected at 10:27pm PT. Connection status shows "Connected to Interactive Brokers" and "Auto Trading ON."
I guess there are so many moving parts, I don't know where to begin diagnosing the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to look in trying to figure out why the system isn't trading in my IB account?
Thanks,
Nolan |

Hi,
Everything looks normal. Here is what I see:
1) options are not supported by TB, so your options system won't trade
2) your stock system did not trade today
3) only opening signals will be traded until you establish a position from C2 signals (C2 does not see your manual orders/positions and trades as if they do not exist)
4) you can get TB to sync your account with the currently open positions in the system by enabling Sync in TBToolsOptionsC2 tab

Thanks for the quick response.
1) The options trades are mine, so I wasn't expecting TB to trade them.
2) According to the Collective2 dashboard for the system to which I've subscribed (Direxion TNA/TZA) there have been four signals (3 BTO and one of those newly opened positions closed) generated so far today. I would have expected those to have been traded.
3) & 4) Due to the rapid turnover of this system I wasn't worried about establishing existing positions. As happened, I expected the developer to rotate out of those positions and establish new ones today (or shortly.)

C2 saw you as not logged on when these signals were sent by the system vendor at 10:58 and 11:58 so it did not send them to your TB.
Things happen in real time with autotrading so you need to make sure TB is logged on to C2 and your broker when a signal occurs.

Dear Nolan,
I had just found out that Yahoo has been returning some of your mails back to C2.
"Sorry your message to XXXX cannot be delivered. This account has been disabled or discontinued [#102]. - http://mta1078.mail.mud.yahoo.com (in reply to end of DATA command)."
Please resubscribe to Direxion TNA/TZA to continue trading and email me at alen@collective2.com if you have an alternate email where I can reach you. I suspect you did not receive the other emails that automate the renewal/continued subscription process.
Sorry to use this post to reach you and for all the trouble.

What is the C2 Score?
Collective2 rates every trading advisor in its database and assigns a score between 100 and 1000.
In general, a rating above 500 is good. A rating above 700 is excellent.
Collective2 Ratings are recalculated daily based on the entire performance history in our database. The exact formula we use is proprietary, but there are several key variables that go into the Collective2 Rating. One of the most important factors is the length of time we have been able to observe the performance of the trader. Another key factor is the amount by which the trader over-performs or under-performs the S&P 500 index. Finally, the choppiness of the trader's results is taken into account. Certainly a more consistent trader will be rated more highly than a trader with erratic results.
